The Bluetooth organization, SIG, recently released mesh networking specifications. It is the solution which define the requirements to implement many-to-many mesh networking based on Bluetooth Low Energy, as known as BLE.
Raytac Corporation, a Taiwan based engineering firm, newly released the full line up of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) module solution by Nordic Semiconductor, which complies mostly regional safety regulation and latest Bluetooth specification.
Nordic latest released SoftDevice S132 v5.0 is a Bluetooth 5 protocol stack. It works for nRF52832 and nRF52810 multi-protocol SoCs. The S132 not only supports up to 20 connections, but also offers following 4 Bluetooth low energy roles:
