MBT42 is a compact form factor but with long connectivity range up to over 100M and fully certified latest Bluetooth specification BT5 and complied with USA, Canada, EU, Japan, China RF safety regulations.
Like Raytac’s other Nordic modules, MDBT42Q and MDBT42, which employs nRF52832 or nRF52810,  although MDBT42V is small but still well secured a superior RF performance. Module design is not as simple as just squeezing the size. How to easy and improve the reliability and yield rate of customer’s later production the key.
MDBT42V hardware pin allocation particularly has been well discreetly designed from Raytac’s years on OEM or ODM experience and knowledge. Raytac aims to provide a module that is compact with designated pin design which can let developers easier to layout the carrier board, easy for manufacturers to work with, and well secured the RF efficiency.Only with comprehensive consideration in module design stage, the module can offer the benefit to developers in terms of products.
Nordic recent released latest S132 SoftDevice for nRF52832 has driven MDBT42V much remarkable. MDBT42V now not only can support up to 20 concurrent connections in a variety of BLE role combinations, but also enables different data bandwidth settings which is ideal for fitness and wearable applications.
