近來, 很多使用勁達國際電子藍牙模組的客戶提到 FuTKEE 與RED
 基本上, FuTKEE指的就是新的CE無線指令RED,但目前都還是Draft都還在修正,目前還無法執行
 預計2016年底或2017年初,才會有比較明確的消息,針對所有的無線產品都會有改動
 
最新歐洲無線設備指令2014/53/EU
在新無線設備指令(RED)中和舊RTTE指令的重大區別有:
  • RED產品范圍僅包括無線通讯和無線識别設備(如RFID,雷達,移動偵测等)。射频設備不用於通讯或者識别的會在電磁兼容EMC指令和低電壓LVD指令的管控中
  • 有線通訊終端設備(TTE)被移除,因此RED指令僅用於無線產品
  • 無線廣播接收機現已纳入RED指令的範圍(之前涵蓋在電磁兼容EMC指令和低電壓LVD指令中)
  • 指令覆蓋頻率下限已取消(之前RTTE的管控起始頻率是9千赫),而上限依然是3000兆赫
  • 公告機構評估意見現已由型式檢查證書取代
  • 制造商只有在其品質體系經過公告機構评估過後,才能使用附上公告機構號碼的CE標誌(完全品質保証型式高)
  • 二類設備向各國頻譜機構進行通告的要求不再需要
  • 二類設備的標識(驚嘆號)不再需要,不過在某些國家受限使用的警示依然需要出現在產品包装上
  • 不再需要在用户手册中出現CE標誌,不過手册中必须注明射頻使用的頻段及發射功率
  • 個人評估用的套件不再受管控(即不需要進行RED認證)
  • 新指令要求使用統一的充電器
  • 制造商及入口商的地址及聯絡方式必須出現在設備上,而當設備太小時可以出現在用户手册中
現有的這些改動及未来的其他改動将會影響到客戶在今年和未来幾年的產品認証,所以建議從現在就必須開始将新指令考虑到產品的設計和市場销售中

1. BQB Qualification

藍牙的測試一般稱為 BQB

其主要有兩大類

一是RF PHY 的硬體測試 , 其二是藍牙Profile 的相容性測試

模組唯有具備兩者測試者並依此申請 DID (Declaration)者, 才有辦法稱為是一個完全模組

 

勁達國際電子的模組 MDBT40/MDBT40-P 不僅已通過硬體的RF PHY 測試 , Profile 的相容性測試更囊括所有 Nordic 的profile

並依此申請 DID (Declaration ID)

因此,  客戶使用勁達所生產的模組是可以泛用於完全模組政策, 意即可以把日後的所有藍牙產品登錄在一個相同的 DID 之下的Product List

不需再為各別產品一一送測及購買 DID

 

2. 地區性的無線法規Regional RF Safety Regulation

很多勁達的客戶很好奇, 為什麼勁達的模組鐵蓋上打了密密麻麻的字

主要是因為, 勁達的模組是遵循完全模組政策

一個完全模組必須具備以下因素

1. 獨立的天線

2. 需有鐵蓋遮蔽

3. 鐵蓋上必須有各國法規要求的文字

 

不同於BQB, 地區性的無線法規是各國海關邊境與市售的強制要求

由於勁達所生產的模組已是完全模組

因此以此模組所製成的成品

除歐盟與澳洲外 , 客戶的成品都可以依照完全模組政策免測RF 的安規項目

A Bluetooth module needs to have 2 factors certification.
1. BQB Qualification
BQB testing is including RF PHY & Profiles interoperability testing.
Module only applied BQB with BOTH 2 tests can comply with Module Policy.
SIG Declaration ID (also known as DID) is essential.
 
Raytac’s MDBT40/MDBT40-P module past hardware RF PHY testing but also has past all Nordic profiles interoperability tests.
 
As such, customers who is using Raytac’s module to build up the products can follow the Module Policy  which means can just sublist all products under single DID’s Product List without applying another.
 
2. Regional RF Safety Regulation
Many of Raytac’s customers are curious why Raytac modules have so many no. on the shielding case.
Similar to BQB qualification, to have Antenna+Shielding case+ Qualification Report No. on shielding is essential condition to comply Module Policy for regional RF Safety Regulation.
Different from BQB, Regional RF Safety Regulation is law enforce issue in custom for every border.
Raytac’ MDBT40/MDBT40-P has complied following safety regulation in different countries by Module Policy.
Excepting CE and RCM which are not conducting Module policy, Raytac modules can bring a easy way for all customers to save time and cost without further regulation testing again in finished products.

This SDK is a IPv6 capable Bluetooth® Smart software stack that provides drivers, libraries, examples, and APIs for nRF52 Series devices. It includes an IPv6 over Bluetooth Smart adaptation layer (6LoWPAN) and a complete Internet Protocol Suite including IPv6, ICMP, UDP, TCP, DTLS, TLS, CoAP and MQTT. It brings native IPv6 support to Bluetooth Smart applications, letting them talk directly to cloud services and other connected ‘things’ over IP-based networks.
The SDK includes examples that configure the nRF52 device as a Bluetooth Smart 6LoWPAN node and that interface with the IP layers at transport level (UDP amd TCP) and with security (DTLS and TLS), to the application level CoAP and MQTT and LWM2M. Examples of how to connect to cloud services is also included in the documentation. The SDK also includes an implementation to for over the air upgrade for Bluetooth Smart IPv6 nodes over IP using the trivial file transport protocol (TFTP).
As a router for development an off-the-shelf router running OpenWRT or a Raspberry Pi can be used. A solution for commissioning of Bluetooth Smart IPv6 nodes to a router with a mobile phone as a trusted third party is also included. Source code for the commissioning app and the needed OpenWRT daemon is also available. All this is described in the documentation.
