nRF52810 AT-Command Evaluation DK Board is a multifunction hardware design for several applications.
Not only a AT-Command Peripheral (Slave) role released recently, but also Central (Master) role deployed Nordic nRF52832 & nRF52840 Solution in the near future.
MDBT42Q-PAT Connection

AT command stands for Attention Command, which is the most ordinary, easy and widely applied protocol to connect and bridge between IoT devices.
Most user scenes for IoT connection currently is Peripheral to Mobile phone (Central).
nRF52810 AT Command module is designed to fulfill the requirement for it.
Raytac’s MDBT42Q-PAT AT-Command Module and DK board aims to help developers accomplish this task efficiently.
Simply connect the hardware on the DK and then complete the development perfectly.
Raytac realized more and more implements’ demands becomes varied. The needs of the Central (Master) has been highly addressed, especially Central device frequently be replaced from mobile phone to others.
nRF52810 is a entry level SoC for BT5 supports high throughput (2Mbps) and advertising extensions. This hardware specification believed is completely satisfied for a IoT peripheral role in most cases.
However, regarding to Central device, the specification in RAM needs higher for calculation, the transmission needs superior spec processor to secure the stability, and the coverage of interface needs more to easy connect to other hardwares.
Peripheral role AT-Command module, MDBT42Q-AT & MDBT42Q-PAT, is just the start. Raytac selects nRF52832 and nRF52840 as the next step to incorporate Central (Master) role demand, options of interface, and advertising extension enhancement.
The designated entire AT command product road map, Raytac not only aims to save the cost and hardware works by BT5 and safety regulation pre-certified modules, but also mitigate the firmware effort during development.
A practical BT5 IoT framework with flexibility, accessibility, and productibility for all Raytac’s customers is the mission we are heading. Together with nRF52810 modules, upcoming AT-Command nRF52832 and nRF52840 module series must bring a comprehensive range of selection and demonstrate a completed network solution which developers truly expect.

  1. Hello,
What do I have to do to provide of AT slave behavior to a MDBT42V module?
    I mean:
    – What Firmware to program the Flash memory with
    – How to connect the nRF52 DK to the target board for programming

    Many thanks in advance,
