Raytac Corporation, a vanguard of Nordic module maker, is pleased to announce that the MDBT42Q/MDBT42/MDBT42V Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) series module which built by Nordic nRF52832 and nRF52810 has been recognized by SIG for BT5.0 specification.

According to Nordic’s plan, there are nRF52840, nF52832 and nRF52810 complies with BT5.0 Bluetooth Specification.

Excepting BT5 long range supporting which is only available by nRF52840, nRF52832 and nRF52810 both can fulfill all requirements and supportings of Bluetooth 5.
Furthermore, with coming the recent highest interests of Bluetooth Mesh Networking, BT5.0 solution in terms of BT5.0 modules dedicates a significant role for the application implements in the near future.
BT5 Nordic Solution Comparison
Following with Nordic’s product roadmap, Raytac has built up the module MDBT42Q based nRF52832 and nRF52810; MDBT42 and MDBT42V baed on nRF52832 and MDBT50 for nRF52840.
For all above modules, excepting MDBT50 built by nRF52840 which will be released by 2018, all others have been QDID granted by BT4.2 and BT5.0 Bluetooth specification.
