UART service, as known as NUS (Nordic UART Service) is the most common and easy way for BLE relating IoT Implement.

The Nordic UART Service is a simple GATT-based service with TX and RX characteristics. Data received from the peer is passed to the application, and the data received from the application of this service is sent to the peer as Handle Value Notifications. The service is used by the application to send and receive ASCII text strings to and from the peer.


Although UART service works with nRF51 (MDBT40 series module) can mostly been satisfied by most implements, customers may be looking for much faster speed and longer package to fulfill widely and various IoT application.
Now, nRF52 SoC (Raytac MDBT42 series module) has brought the solution for those who requests higher speed and longer package transmission applications.

1. Supporting Longer Package MTU
   (500 Bytes for Baudrate 9600 / over 10K for 115200 or 230400)
2. Over 10 times higher transmission speed than nRF51 UART
3. 1/10 (or less) transmission time than nR51 UART
